The 49th annual Nashville Film Festival will take place May 10-19, 2018, at the Regal Hollywood 27 Theaters (719 Thompson Lane, Nashville, TN). The acclaimed event will feature films by respected veterans, up-and-coming directors, and first-time filmmakers. NashFilm is an Academy Award qualifier, so the movies you see could be Oscar contenders in the future
The Nashville Film Fest will be at one place, at 10 theaters over the course of 10 days. Various access laminates are available as well as the option to purchase single tickets. Various genres from drama to music will be represented along with areas of interest ranging from 3D to Tennessee. Short films will also will be showcased. One that might appeal to Elvis fans and locals is Now or Never a brief documentary about the dismantling of Colonel Parker’s Madison, TN home which also served as the headquarters of the Elvis Fan Club for many years. Now or Never is screening on May 15, 2018 at 6:30pm.
